University of Wisconsin-Madison Secures Victory at the 2024 College Curling National Championships

In a captivating display of skill and strategic prowess, the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-M) curling team emerged as the champions of the 2024 College Curling National Championship. This highly anticipated final saw UW-M outmaneuver Princeton University in a thrilling contest. Hosted at the esteemed Rice Lake Curling Club in Rice Lake, WI, on March 11th, the championship underscored the competitive spirit and growing popularity of collegiate curling.

The UW-M team, consisting of Mitchell Armstrong, Alex Ge, Colin Packard, and Emily Brost, showcased their resilience and strategic thinking throughout the championship game. The Princeton team, made up of Nelson Rogers, Lara Katz, Brian Li, and Johnathan Lysgaard Dolce, ultimately conceded after a pivotal seventh end, marking a memorable victory for UW-M.
