Danny Casper started curling at the age of 11 at Ardsley Curling Club. Just over a decade later, he is now skipping a team that is about to compete in the 2024 USA Curling Nationals.
In his young career, Danny has already won the silver medal at the University Games and placed second in the 2023 National Playdowns. In the national tournament, Team Casper came in second to Team Shuster, which has represented the US in the last five Olympics and took home the gold in 2018.
Join me as we interview Danny back where his career began. Team Casper and many of the best US curling teams practiced at Ardsley Curling Club in advance of the national competition. This year’s event takes place starting on January 29 at The Rink at American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
