About Me

Carter Medved is a member of Edgemont Junior-Senior High School’s Class of 2025 in Scarsdale, New York and the founder of GreatCurling.com, an international platform dedicated to promoting and celebrating the sport of curling.

 

His passion for curling was ignited after watching the Winter Olympics, leading him to join his local curling club, Ardsley Curling Club. As the lead on his team, Carter has become an integral part of a dedicated group of curlers.

Since launching GreatCurling.com, Carter has expanded the platform from offering basic tips and insights into curling techniques to conducting in-depth interviews with Olympic legends and covering major events in the curling world. The website has grown to attract readers from across the globe, including countries such as Canada, Scotland, and Kazakhstan. His commitment to sharing curling’s intricacies and charm with a broader audience has earned him recognition within the curling community, including an invitation from USA Curling to cover Nationals in 2024.
